This
book made me feel happy and warm. It is different from what I've read in
a long while and I am glad for it because I have a new appreciation for stories
such as this.
I call him Brady is a very great read. It was filled with laughter, sweet
moments, and real situations. I could connect with it and it pretty much
sums up a lot of the things that I have been through.
Jack Cole was born in to fame and hasn't known anything but being in the
limelight. He had no control over it because of his famous parents.
He went along with it because its the only thing he's ever known.
He is consumed by the famous life and sees the consequences of what it
did to his parents and he did not want that life for himself. In an
effort to find more meaning or substance to his life, he travels and worked
with children teaching them photography. He learns how to appreciate the
beauty of life through the lens of a camera. He returns home for a
surprise visit and finds his out that his girlfriend was cheating on him.
Embers is a divorced single mom of one. She is in an elevator when she
meets Jack Cole. She overhears his conversation about his girlfriend
cheating on him and she sympathizes. In an effort to save Jack from a
horde of fans in the elevator she calls him Brady and motions for him to follow
her. She helps him avoid the public eye and they end up taking him home
after their pretend game. Jack is attracted to Embers and wants to know
more about her. He stays with Embers and her family and experiences life
in a carefree, loving environment for the first time. They are enjoying
each others company and start to have feelings for one another. When
everything goes well and they start dating Embers ex-husband comes in to the
picture and becomes jealous and threatening their budding romance. Will
they be able to stay together or will they part ways? Definitely a one
click!
Born the only son to one of Hollywood's most prominent power couples, Jack Cole's life is damn near perfect. With women lining up to be with him, movie parts most seasoned actors would die for and the freedom to live above the rules, Jack's life is going completely according to plan.
Until Embers...
Embers doesn't have time to waste on any more dirt-bags. Too busy trying to take care of herself and her daughter to take any more chances on romance, she's limiting her love life to daydreaming about one hot and sexy, Jack Cole.
Except her surefire way to keep her heart safe goes completely awry when her dream guy and her reality suddenly collide.
A master of recreating the human emotions he's never allowed himself to feel, Jack must now deal with the consequences of offering his heart to someone who may be too scared to keep it
