Kristina Chase is a Creator. She has the ability to bring people back from the dead. Only one problem, she brings them back as vampires instead of humans. This is the job she should be doing for the center but she has no intention of doing that so she does the opposite. She's kills vampires. She doesn't believe in what the center represents and vows to kill as many vampires as possible. Her killing spreeing comes to an end when her sister, Torra goes missing and someone named Wolf has her but won't release her until Kristina does something's for him. She's not alone in her mission. She has her BFF and friendly ghost Jude and Rush, the guy she can't have but like, a lot. Only one problem, he believes in the center's rules and belief and is on the council. Kristina has to jump through hoops for Wolf to get her sister back but nothing is ever simple in her world.
It's a great book and jumps straight in without any build up. I wasn't sure if i liked this idea but it's was great to get into the thick of it than waiting for something to happen. There was always so my action that i never got bored and was actually quite addictive to this story. I loved the loveable BFF Jude, he was at time rather cute and funny. Sexy on legs, Rush was another great character and i loved the balance between the storyline and the romance. The romance never overshadowed the action and i main storyline and i loved that. A really great story, very enjoyable and i loved the idea of a creator. It put a new spin on a paranormal story. Really happy that i got the opportunity to review this book. Great Book!
Necromancer Kris Chase's purpose is simple. Blindly raise the dead for the primary elite, self necro-governed group, the Center. The problem is, she couldn't care less about what the Center expects from her. Instead, she is more content with snuffing out the life-force from every vile creature she can get her hands on; the same monsters her brethren indiscriminately create… for the right price.
Until the life of someone dear to her is threatened.
With the stakes raised insurmountably, she finds herself bound by desperation to create the very darkness she always fought against being consumed by, going against everything she has ever believed in.
