**REVIEW** It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover

Rating: 4 Stars

Review

I love all Colleen's written words, she knows how to weave a story and make you page flip. I have never been disappointed with one of her books, and this one was the same. Let me start with Lilly, who is the main character. It starts at a funeral, her fathers funeral. She is asked to speak, though when they ask her to say five kind words about him, she can't. She ends up leaving and going home, except she goggles a rooftops, and that's where she meets a smart and attractive doctor. Ryle has demons, Lilly doesn't know about these demons, she only sees light in him. He is after all begging to sleep with her, and she tells him. Because she doesn't want that, she is a relationship kind of gal.

The book flips back and forth from present to past, the past hold Atlas, a homeless boy who Lilly can't help but love. And he loves her just as much as in return.

I won't go into too much for giving away spoilers.

But I thought when I read spoilers that I would hate Ryle, for his ways. But I didn't, I actually loved him. I did not want him to end up with Lilly though, someone else held that, though, I wanted more for him, he deserved more.

Colleen you have done it again, and I do hope we get Ryle's book. He seems to be the most interesting charter, and I want to learn more.

Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town in Maine where she grew up—she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. So when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life suddenly seems almost too good to be true.

Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t get him out of her head. But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made him that way in the first place.
As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan—her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.
