Andres and Christina are really different. Christina has always been moulded to expect her husband to be rich. It seems like a big deal to her mother and she just goes along with what her mother wants. She is engaged to Jackson who parents are really rich and Christina's mother strongly approves. She has two completely different friends. Karri is a mother to Tyler but has a habit of drugs and in all, is a terrible mother. Grace is the complete opposite and is an amazing friend to Christina and has her own apartment. Christina's life turns upside down when she meets Andres. He's sexy, sweet and the attraction between them is electric. Only one problem..........he's a mechanic! Christina meets him when Karri's car breaks down and he offers to help them out. This is after Christina decides to go against her mother's choice and dump Jackson. She knows her mother is going to hate this but she decides now is the right time to decide things for herself. Andres and Christina both have hard pasts which make them believe they are not good for each other.

I personally loved this story and it's only the beginning! Yay! Can't wait to read the next book! What's in store for these two i wonder?? Brilliant read!

What a brilliant and emotional read that kept me hooked throughout.

Very emotional beginning with the main character, Nicole losing her 10 year old son and the breakdown of her marriage doesn't help how she is feeling about her life. When Shawn, a guy she has known for years, comes back into her life, he tries and helps her to find life again and try and move forward. Shawn has always held a torch for Nicole but he has to keep his feelings to himself as Nicole has too much to deal with so he vows to just be her friend.

It is a really brilliant read! I love Nicole and Shane and their sizzling attraction to one enough, Their chemistry is scorching and you really feel that when reading. I loved reading the parts about Zena, Nicole's best friend and Shane, Shawn's twin brother. Shane is marrying a girl his family don't approve of. I'm hoping Zena and Shane will have their own book as their seems to be a great attraction between them.

A Fantastic Read! And i will definitely be reading more from this author!

Sliding out of the booth, I sauntered across the pub and ducked behind the counter. Nobody gave me a second glance. They didn’t know who I was, nobody did, but they knew I wasn’t anybody good. Peering through the window on the door, Mercy had her back turned, wiping at her damp T-shirt. I could step into her from behind and show her how hard I was…but that wasn’t the way this game was going to be played.

Pressing the door open with the flat of my palm, she looked up at me with blue eyes that gave away two things. Her hair wasn’t naturally black and by the way her pupils dilated, she was amped up. I was interested in only one of these observations and by the way my cock began to stir, there was no guessing which one was the money shot.

Mercy glared up at me, trying to cover her surprise at my appearance.

“What the fuck do you want?” she spat, dabbing at her tiny T-shirt with a rag. “You’re not allowed back here. Employees only."

I stepped closer, not put off by her tone at all. I’d had worse.

“I don’t give a shit,” I said.

She eyed me, her gaze raking from head to cock and back up again.

River has done it again!

In Affliction we a getting to know more of the Knight Rebels. We learn about Sy and his dark past and then there is Holly who is getting past her own demons. Together they learn to rely on each other and soon things begin to grow between them.

I have enjoyed getting to know Sy and Holly and watch them grow and move on and build a new future for themselves. In book one of this series I was very curious about Sy and now after reading Affliction I’m happy to say he is one of my favourites. There were parts that had me laughing out loud. I felt connected to the characters and sometimes felt what they might be feeling. Emotions run high in this book and it’s like you’re on a rollercoaster.

Good job once again!
