*REVIEW* Trust Game by Scarlet Wolfe

Reviewer: Donna
Rating: 5 Stars

Wow, wow, wow! This was some HOT HOT book!

Trust Game is about Reese and Everett. Reese starts working at Casteel which is run by the Casteel brothers. She can't believe that she is the only female that works there but everyone she meets seems really nice. Everett is one of the Casteel brothers and he lost his wife, Krystal and is finally trying to get over her. Reese and Everett have an instant connection but Reese finds it hard to trust people so she doesn't want anything serious but her Sister, Becca encourages her to have a fling with Everett for fun. It doesn't stay that way for long as they both fall in love but with Reese trying to uncover why the Casteel business has lost money, she is about to uncovers some truths that will shake up her and Everett's relationship and test them completely.

I thought this book was brilliant! Ended up reading it in a day as i couldn't put it down. I was so addicting to read. Very well written and characters were really great and fun to read about. The supporting characters were the same and they were all so easy to love. I was completely gutted when i finished the book! I have to mention the sex scenes. My god! they were HOT, steamy and explosive! Really fantastic book and definitely one to read.

Reese Abbott thought her step up to an accounting manager would be with a more prestigious company than Casteel Motorsports, especially when she steps foot inside the building. Finding it spattered in grease and overrun by male employees, she wonders what she has gotten herself into.

Everett Casteel is the man in charge. His three brothers help run the operation, making it more of a family affair and a place for ribbing and pranks. When Reese is hired without Everett’s knowledge, he’s furious. Having lost his wife in an auto accident, two years prior, he doesn’t want any woman filling the job his wife once held.

Unexpectedly, he’s drawn to Reese and can’t help but want her physically. Although she has gone without sex for several months, she has no intentions of having a fling with her new boss. When bad boy, Everett, makes a pass at her, it sends Reese running out the door in her heels. Her younger sister, Becca, convinces her that an exciting affair with her boss is exactly what she needs before she likely settles down with a boring man.

Unable to resist Everett, she agrees to his sexual games as long as he agrees to her conditions. Both wanting to have the upper hand, they challenge each other sexually, experimenting in ways they have only imagined.

Neither bargain for what the other brings to the table, and when both think they’ve found exactly what they’re looking for, Reese makes a discovery about Everett’s deceased wife. The shocking revelation leaves him questioning the value of trust; the very thing he convinced Reese she had found in him.

This is an explosively hot read with explicit sexual scenes and harsh language.

She's also 'Mom' to four dogs, a growing number of kitties that show up at her door, and four VERY spoiled horses that do little to earn their keep. Not that she'd ever hold that against them.

She's a HUGE fangirl of Doctor Who and to a lesser extent Supernatural, and has a pretty interesting love triangle (or square?) going on in her head between the Doctor and the Winchesters.

* REVIEW * - The Broken Parts of Us (The Broken #2) by Ker Dukey

Reviewer : Reanna
Rating : 4.5 Stars

I really enjoyed this book and although it probably could be read as a stand alone I strongly recommend reading it in order. I feel like the first book really allows you to connect to the characters and definitely helped me to understand more of how their history shaped their lives. River, Sammy and Michael are secondary characters in the grand scheme of the book they still play a major part in the story, Derek, Jasper, and the new characters of Kyra and Hannah hold the most weight in The Broken Parts of Us, I enjoyed both revisiting the characters and meeting the new characters.

This books was an emotional roller coaster for me, there were times I wanted to laugh and definitely times I could have cried. I really felt like I could connect with the characters, I felt their pain, anger and fear along with the moments of true happiness and contentment. Although I had problems with Hannah as a characters and the way Jasper dealt with the situation I generally liked the rest of the characters (except for the bad guy of course).

I will say the way these books were written with switching POV's between chapters could be a little confusing if you're not paying attention to the titles as it's all written in the first person so if you don't know who's chapter it is you could get a little lost. I really don't think it could be written any other way though, the author did an excellent job telling these characters stories and making you feel like you lived it with them. Although there is the romance element and in this case a menage I also found these books to be fairly dark because of all the struggles, I would not classify this as a light read but definitely a book worth reading.

Some people search their whole life for a connection -- a reason to be here, and feel life in all of its intensity.. But what if you never wanted to experience that emotion?

Jasper lived his life coldly determined never to fall in love. Some people impact your life in a moment, but will stay in your life forever. What if an irresistible force crashes into you -- not once, but twice, and from a totally unexpected source?

Jasper must overcome past demons that are still plaguing him and his friends. He must face future choices he never knew he would have to make. Sexual chemistry can come in all forms. When the lines blur between friendship, love and lust, a new darkness finds its way into their lives. Either these relationships survive or die forever broken...in The Broken Parts of Us.

* REVIEW * - Relentless Hope (Resilient Hearts Book 1) by Ashley Cassidy

Reviewer : Angie
Rating : 5 Stars

WOW!!! 5 HEARTBREAKING STARS for this debut novel! Ashley Cassidy drew me into Aleah’s story from page 1. I felt her pain, loneliness, and hurt every step of the way. I love that she found a savior in a very unlikely place and that she, in turn, became a savior for him. I felt like this story, about a young woman, of Pakistani descent, trying to live by the rules, but being abandoned by her family when she needs them the most, is very believable.

While I would call this a romance novel (and boy, is Aiden Pierson dreamy), it is also about life’s struggles and overcoming them the best you know how. All of the main characters have lessons to learn before they can find happiness. Which ones will learn those lessons first? I will warn you that this book left me bawling, but I anxiously await the 2nd book in this series. Ashley Cassidy has a new fan in me!!!

*I was given an ARC of this book for an honest review.

Sometimes playing by the rules and doing everything right is just not enough. A single mistake can turn your entire existence upside down, and irreversibly change the course of your life.

Aleah Lateef’s life changed after one bad judgment led to her being attacked, threatened, and abandoned by all her friends and family. Having been forced to drop out of college, with no money, no job, and no one to turn to, Aleah finds herself on the verge of homelessness and about to lose all hope. One chance encounter with an unlikely savior, however, takes her life on a journey she never imagined taking.

Relentless Hope is a story of losing everything and finding yourself as a result. It is a tale of the resiliency of the human heart in the face of continuous difficulties. This is the journey of a young woman’s struggles to find her way in the world and the unlikely friendships she forms along the way. Ultimately, finding love in the most unlikely places and losing it all when she least expects it.

* REVIEW * - Damaged (Outlaws #1) by Nina D'Angelo

Reviewer : Angie
Rating : 5 Stars

5 STARS!!! It's hard to put this book into one genre. It is a romance novel, a mystery, a suspense, and a book about survival. Stephanie Carovella has been through more in her short life than most people do in a lifetime. I fell in with with Stephanie right away. Her survival instinct was more than I can even imagine possible, but Nina D'Angelo made me feel Stephanie's panic and fear, firsthand. Her relationship with Dominic(Dom) was undeniable. Only he can help break down the walls she has put up, but she has to be willing to let him in and let go of the fear that loving her is dangerous to one's health.

I am still left with questions about the identity/identities(?) of those causing this fear and can't wait to read the next in the Outlaws series. I am definitely a fan of Nina D'Angelo's work.

Before Stephanie Carovella had nowhere to run and nowhere to hide, she was damaged.

Stephanie Carovella has been running from her past all her life. The survivor of a brutal attack, which left her best friend dead, she has carefully built a protective wall around herself, but she knows sooner or later her past is going to catch up with her. It’s why she doesn’t want to fall in love. It’s why she doesn’t want to let anyone get too close.

Dominic Delaney works hard and plays just as hard. He’s a love ‘em and leave ‘em guy who doesn’t believe in forever until Stephanie walks into Outlaws. She is wild, unpredictable and dangerous as hell, yet, he’s drawn to her. He needs to know the secrets behind her eyes. He can’t walk away.

A sexy, tattooed womanizer, Dominic Delaney’s everything Stephanie wants to avoid. She knows she should stay the hell away from him, but he makes her want to stop running. Sometimes, even the Damaged deserve to fall in love.

* Please note this is a prequel series set 10 years before the Stephanie Carovella series. The second novel Stephanie and Dominic novel will be out in 2015.

* REVIEW * - Kratos Take Over Series Book 3 by T.L. Smith

Reviewer : Kaylene
Rating : 5 Stars

Kratos is written in Stefanos’ point of view and most definitely does not disappoint. This story just gets better and better and this book completes the Take Over Series. It gives a little background of the young Stefanos and then continues on from book two.

I love Stefanos’ point of view, it shows how he changes into the man he is, once he meets Eliza or his “Princess”. Book three takes on a different path when finally Stefanos becomes Eliza’s Kratos.

Although this is a short novella, it packs a punch and I thoroughly recommend the final book. I give this book a five star rating and cannot wait for more books by T. L. Smith.

You think you know me…. You think you know whom I am…so lets get a few things straight…. I didn’t get involved in relationships. Relationships are for the weak, plus it’s leverage for your enemy’s and I have plenty.

But that’s all changed. When a strong willed woman, with the mouth of a sailor walked into my life, wearing tiny shorts, which displayed her beautiful long legs and round ass. I thought I could play with her and maybe get my fix. But when she spoke I knew that wasn’t going to happen. She is full of life and one scary ass little woman. I knew right away I had to have her and would do anything to keep her.

She owns my soul; she owns my demons, every part of me is owned by her.
