* REVIEW * Gilded Lily (Gilded Flower #1) by Vivian Winslow

Reviewer : Kaylene
Rating : 4 Stars

I really enjoyed the first part in this series...

Gilded Lily is the first in a three part series by Vivian Winslow.  It starts out with you meeting Lily, who is to be married to Jack, and the night before their wedding, she walks in on her sister and Jack in the bedroom. Of course, needless to say, she dumps him and calls off the wedding.  The reaction she receives from her mother, floored me, but so does the story in some ways.

Lily decides to still go on her honeymoon even though she didn't marry the scum bag.  She quickly forms a routine and she meets Marcelo, a masseur.  Lily also meets up with Gustavo, the man who she met previously, however he is a married man.  There is an attraction between Gustavo and Lily, but you will have to read the story to find out how this pans out.

There is cheating, a very friendly masseur and Lily who is on a self discovery mission. I am looking forward to reading the second instalment in this series.  It’s a quick read, being only 74 pages, but don’t let that deter you. This was a four star read for me.

After catching her fiancĂ© Jack in bed with her sister the day before her wedding, New York socialite Lily Baron escapes to Rio, her honeymoon destination—alone. There, Marcelo, the dark and sexy hotel masseur, releases a heated passion Lily had never experienced with Jack. When Lily meets handsome and powerful Brazillionaire Gustavo de Lima, she can hardly resist him. There’s just one problem. He’s married. In this uber-sensual city, will Lily’s reluctance to be with a married man, in light of her own fiancĂ©’s betrayal, give way to her burning desire for Gustavo?

Gilded Lily is the 1st book in the Lily Trilogy of The Gilded Flower Series
