*REVIEW* "INK: Fine Lines" by Bella Roccaforte

Reviewer: Donna
Rating: 3.5 Stars

Shay is an artist and she has developed a comic series which is about to become big. She has these dreams which she thought were just dreams but when her neighbours are found dead and she dreamed that she was there, it doesn't look good for her. It doesn't help that she draws the crime scene from her dream which ends up with her being the prime suspect in her neighbours murders. To top if all off, she has to guys fighting for her affect. Aiden who seems to bolt and leave he everytime things get serious and Eli who is reliable, dependable and a district attorney.

I did find this book to be quite confusing but over half way through, I finally got into it a bit more. When I first started it, it didn't seem like it was the first book as while reading it, I felt I was missing parts of the story. Over half way through, i began to understand the story better and I began to really enjoy it. Finishing the book had left me with a lot of questions about what will happen in the next book. Aiden and Eli I found very childish and I was sure if I preferred Shay to be with any of them as her relationship with both of them seems really complicated. Will be reading book 2 as I loved the ending and I want to find out what happens next.

Shay Baynes is a wanted woman: by the police for a double murder, by two rival suitors, and by the evil specter that haunts her dreams.

It’s her twenty-first birthday and she finally feels like she’s in charge, out on her own and about to hit it big with a new comic series. The ink's not even dry on her breakout first issue but even Shay's twisted imagination can't predict what will happen when the fine line between reality and nightmare is crossed...

She walked away once from the men who want to control her and now they’re back. But can she break away from them and the specter who walks right off the pages of her comic committing gruesome murders.
