*REVIEW* "No Turning Back (Full Circle)" by Casey Peeler

Reviewer: Liz
Rating: 3.5 Stars

No Turning Back is about Charley a beautiful young woman who had the popular guy at school they were both on the swim team she thought she was the luckiest girl. Dylan was respectful of her and her no sex before marriage. One night everything turns bad for Charley her drink is spiked and she is raped, her best friend Cash finds her and promises her that no one will ever hurt her again.

As time goes on she becomes strong and only worries about herself and distancing herself from the one person who has hurt her so badly that she finishes up the swim team and takes care of herself. The time comes for her to go to college she picks one not far from her home there she makes some great new friends she calls the Kluft girls and she joins the swim team again plus she meets the oh so sexy Joe.

This was a great story about finding yourself again after something terrible has happened; Charley is a strong farm girl close to her family and friends. Cash is her best mate who she loves dearly; they have a very special relationship a lots of kissing and cuddling relationship. Then there is Joe, Joe is on the lacrosse team at her college and they are in the same freshmen class which is where their friendship/relationship kicks off.

I was a little bit like what the? When Charley was going from Cash to Joe and yet both guys seemed ok with it. The story was great and the characters were strong. I felt there could have been a little more feeling and description especially in parts that included Cash and Joe and maybe line breaks or something to show that the scene had changed as I would be reading then its like a new day or scene.

I look forward to the next book! Well done Casey!

~Synopsis~

After getting involved with Dylan, the bad boy of the Dixon High Swim team, Charley decides to stay close to home for college. It’s just safer that way. Later, she realizes it’s a mistake, just like dating Dylan. She decides to put the past behind her and leave the small hick town of Grassy Pond. There is only one problem; she makes this decision three weeks before the fall semester begins.

Charley packs up her Honda and heads to Southern College. On the morning she’s about to leave, Cash walks back into her life. He has been her best friend since they were four and is the only one who knows the REAL Charley. She leaves her farm in Grassy Pond with all kinds of “what if” questions.

Charley decides to live her college career to the fullest. She finds a great group of friends, joins the swim team, and meets a guy named Joe. He’s got eyes that make ya wanna melt!

At college, she encounters a new problem. Charley has been away from home for only forty-eight hours before she breaks the two promises she made to herself. Will she be able to overcome her past? Find new love? What will happen with Cash now that he is back in her life? Will she find what she is wanting in Jackalope Joe? How will her first semester of college end? Joe, Cash, or alone?
